Hi Everyone,
Tried to sit to write this blog and found a surprise!
Sorry my blog post is a day late! Our guests left at about 2 am and I was way to tired to type!
Well I made it through National Day. So much thanks to everyone for all their support, but more on that later;
The day started out great! I got up early and went for a ride.
Found a totally new way back and had such a good ride! Also, saw the coolest kites!!!!
My meals for yesterday were;
It was all so so so yummy! I must admit though, It was hard to eat just this when there were chips, lollies, nuts, cheese, sandwiches, chicken, seared scallops, sushi, spring rolls, and a GIANT fruit platter, not to mention the bottle and bottle of booze that were consumed! I even passed on a glass of Moet during an impromptu birthday toast!
The husband returned yesterday (YAYNESS x INFINITY!) Its so great to have him back! He also brought me back some Cacao powder which I can not seem to get in Singapore. Its a raw form of Cocoa and I can use it in my protein shakes and some of the baking recipes.
So onto National Day, It was a really great night, and we got to share it with some AMAZING people! Thank you to Michelle (straight of a plane!), Rebecca, Sean & Isabella, Carrie, George and your beautiful friend, Ben & Amber, Selina & Dallas and Nina & Michael (Happy Birthday!!!)
I am really proud of myself for not breaking. not even one little chip crumb, or I sip of booze! It was pretty hard, esp when I was making so much food and not eating it! I had to get husband to taste test things to make sure they were ok or cooked etc, I don’t think he minded though 🙂 Its hard to write a blog the day after lol! Anyway, last but not least I have a surprise for you all! The video below is about 5 mins of the fireworks that we could see from the apartment. (The fireworks went on and off for about an hour!)
