Detoxing like a goddess!

I had a massive headache going to bed last night, but read that it could be expected. I also know I didn’t have nearly enough water as I should have yesterday with would have contributed. Day 2 is a lot easier then I thought it would be! Woke up and made some super yummy juice. Made two and stored one in the fridge for later and I think this is a good way to go. I have read that all the good stuff dies in the juice if you leave them to long, but I think a few hours is ok.

I should mention that although I have a Breville Juice Fountian, it’s huge, messy and a pain in the ass to clean. So the Nutribullet “blends” but it does a really good job! There is some “fluff” to the juice but it’s still easy to swallow.

My cat truffle approves!

I made a big batch of chicken, leek and onion soup today in the slow cooker. As I mentioned previously, I think mixing soup and juice works best for me. This soup is really simple and is really good for you! I would usually make my own stock,  it I was in a hurry and the label on this stock isn’t full of numbers and crap.
I went to PT today for the frist time in a few weeks as I have been quite sick with the flu. It may not have been the best idea as I was super drained and tired, but I still worked out the whole hour and mainly focused on weights and core. So still happy I went.
I met some girlfriends after that for a catch up and instead of the normal coffee, we went to Fruit Frolic, which is a cold pressed juice bar.
As I have been having a lot of green / citrus juices, I opted for a beetroot, ginger, garlic, carrot, apple and pear mix. (Also on the strong recommendation of my good friend Mikey) I find that ginger in a juice is quite bitter / harsh so I may leave it out next time.

I got one for later too!
Had a bowl of my home made soup for dinner and all in all feeling very good.
Bed time soon! Then final day tomorrow.
What are your fave juice combos? Or soup flavours?
