Today I had one of those runs that was just right. I was late heading out to run, I was tired and a bit cranky, but I made myself put on my running gear, cranked the nano and set off.

I am SUPER EXCITED as I set a new distance PB with my running today! It was a really hard slog as its extra hot today, but I did it. I am so proud of myself! There is NO WAY I could have done this with out my amazing friend and run coach, Michelle!

This #melbourneheatwave is insane! Really looking forward to the cool change hitting tonight as it means no more 40+ and I can GO FOR A RUN tomorrow. My beautiful friend Adri is joining me on my first attempt at Melbourne's iconic track, "The Tan". It's a gravel path around the Yarra River and the Botanic Gardens.

I am currently in Melbourne, and even though I am on holiday, I still plan on working out. However, we are in a 40 degree heat wave that is not due to end until the weekend. Whilst I have access to a gym, I love running, and I am still not a fan of running on a treadmill.....
